Superdelic™ is a standout triploid variety that emerged from the collaborative breeding efforts of Dr. Ron Beatson and Plant and Food Research (PFR) in 2012. Featuring a diverse genetic lineage of both North American and European ancestry, this hop quickly distinguished itself during early selection trials and pilot brewing trials with its distinct berry fruit aroma. Superdelic was fast-tracked into the NZ Hops trial hop farm program in 2017, due to its unique aroma and chemistry profile.

While Superdelic™ is dynamic enough to carry a recipe on its own, it plays incredibly well with others. Try pairing it with Citra, Simcoe, or NZ favorites like Nelson Sauvin, Motueka, and Riwaka to create a multi-dimensional hop bomb.
