The H-54 Drinking Water System, Pentair part EV925267, brings that engineering under your kitchen sink in the most compact body in the H series.At its center is Everpure's exclusive Micro-Pure filtering material, which coats the pleated surface inside the cartridge to give a large filtering area, long cartridge life and consistent performance. The system reduces chlorine taste and odor, dirt, rust and other particulates such as oxidized iron, manganese and sulfides, filters particles as small as 0.5 micron by mechanical means, and brings lead to below the federal action level of 15 ppb. It is NSF/ANSI Standard 53 certified to reduce cysts such as Cryptosporidium and Giardia by mechanical means, and Standard 401 certified for microplastics. The model H-54 is tested and certified by NSF International against NSF/ANSI Standards 42, 53 and 401 for the claims on its Performance Data Sheet. Vital minerals found naturally in water are retained.The signature Everpure metal canister delivers commercial-grade durability, and a food-grade polymer lining keeps water off the metal. A built-in water shut-off makes cartridge changes quick and clean.Plan on 5W x 15H x 5D inches of space, including 2-1/2 inches of clearance under the unit for cartridge changes, and install vertically with the cartridge hanging down. A separate drinking water faucet is required and is included.
