Nyos Coral Dip

This state-of-the-art coral dip offers targeted control against a very wide range of coral parasites and pests. Developed in collaboration with leading coral farms and optimised over time for reliable performance, it is ideal for treating acute infestations and for preventive use when introducing new corals to your display.

Proven effective against many pests and parasites commonly found on new or infested corals:

• Flatworms (Turbellaria) such as:
  • Acropora-eating flatworms (AEFW and related species)
  • Leopard flatworms and other Acoela
  • Red planaria and similar problem flatworms
• Nudibranchs (Phyllodesmium, Phestilla, Tritoniopsis, Aeolidiella) such as:
  • Zoanthus-, Montipora-, Sympodium- and soft coral–eating nudibranchs
  • Species that prey on Clavularia, Alveopora, Tubastraea, Porites, Goniopora, and others
• Other exotic coral parasites and pests:
  • Isopods and sea spiders (pantopods) including zoanthus spiders
  • Amphipods and skeleton shrimp
  • Small crabs that damage Acropora and other corals
  • Polychaetes (bristle worms, Spionidae) and parasitic copepods (black/red/white bugs)
  • Comb jellies (ctenophores), ciliates and other microscopic pests

Usage guidance: Use the product according to the label for correct concentration per target pest. Dip corals for approximately 10 minutes; gentle flow or a turkey baster can improve penetration and cleaning. Rinse corals with clean aquarium water before returning them to the display. If eggs are present, repeat the dip once weekly for four weeks to ensure complete removal.
