Milam & Greene Very Small Batch Straight Bourbon Whiskey: Crafted meticulously by Master Blender Heather Greene, this inaugural batch is an ensemble of 75 handpicked bourbon barrels. Combining the prowess of bourbon distilled in Kentucky by Master Distiller Marlene Holmes with the distinctive character of Tennessee bourbon, Batch 1 is formulated with 20% Kentucky barrels and 80% Tennessee barrels.

The Kentucky component is distilled using Milam & Greene's distinguished mash bill of 70% corn, 22% malted rye, and 8% malted barley, delivering a nutty richness even at its young age of just under 4 years. The Tennessee counterpart harmonizes with an 80% corn, 10% rye, and 10% malted barley mash bill. This union offers a taste profile influenced by three states' climates: Kentucky, Tennessee, and Texas.

The heart of this whiskey, the very small batches, ensures a meticulous focus on detail. It highlights the delicate esters produced during fermentation, revealing refined notes of fruit, florals, and herbs. Enhancing its sophisticated character, Very Small Batch Bourbon undergoes a final touch with French oak staves. These staves, having previously cradled tawny port wine and Milam & Greene’s celebrated rye whiskey, are sun-cooked in Texas and charred externally. Steeped in the bourbon for around two weeks, they impart a nuanced woodiness without overshadowing the whiskey's intrinsic esters.
