The McDavid 195 Ankle Brace with Straps offers superb ankle support to prevent, heal and recover from ankle sprains and injuries. The 195 simulates an athletic tape wrap, but unlike taping, this brace is fully adjustable — the Figure-6 strapping system can be tightened quickly and easily without shoe removal. Athletes participating in an independent study at a major research university had three times fewer injuries when wearing the 195 ankle brace. This is a Protection Level 3 product for maximum support. It is best for moderate to major ankle instabilities, proactive ankle injury prevention and post-surgical ankle joint protection, including maximum vibration damping and support of joint capsules, bursae and related soft tissues.
