Technical description for a High Speed Steel Round Adjustable Die (uncoated, bright finish) designed for M12 x 1.5 threading with a 1-1/2 inch outside diameter. The round die is chamfered on both faces to facilitate starting threads and threading close to a shoulder. Adjustment is provided by a fine pitch screw that separates or brings the die faces together. The beveled slot accommodates machine holders by allowing removal of the adjusting screw for in-holder adjustment.
