Part of the Lamp/One Collection Black Edition, this trio chandelier is a sophisticated and luxurious décor object. An intense and velvety black background is crossed by precious large yellow-gold veins, enhancing the chromatic contracts that most characterise this stone. Reflecting the ancient heritage of the Roman empire, extracted from the beautiful “Gulf of Poets” of Portovenere in Liguria-Italy, this prestigious polychromatic marble has been employed in the decoration of Versailles castle in France and several major historical buildings across Europe throughout the 19th century. This glorious past is here reinterpreted and juxtaposed to crystal glass shades, hand-ground, providing a soft and warm down-light. The chandelier is hung on a square satin brass ceiling rose through fabric adjustable cables, allowing the different rhythm of volumes.
