The KleenWater KWE-5M-KDF cartridge is a great choice for a low cost, high quality alternative compatible with Everpure H-300 filter cartridge. This filter is rated for an impressive 10,000 gallon capacity at 1.67 gallon per minute flow rate. The KWE filter employs premium grade AquaBond activated carbon to remove chlorine, chemicals and taste / odor. The KWE-5M-KDF also removes lead from water via a "reduction-oxidation" process. The KDF media is a copper-zinc filtration media that performs lead filtration. Dual layered sediment filtration technology is employed which first filters to 5 micron and then further down to 1 micron. The cartridge design allows for quick and easy replacement. This filter is an alternative compatible replacement and not an exact replica but compatible with the Everpure H-300 filter.
