The HSS material along with Vacuum heat treatment and Nitride surface hardening treatment provide extra durability compared to other commonly used lower grade HSS. The highly visible Shiny steps and the laser etched highlighted step size marks make it easy for you to see and control when drilling holes. The split point self-starting tip prevents working. Thick 3/8'' Tri-flatted shank provides a firm, positive grip and won't spin out in the drill. Ideal for drilling holes in Stainless steel, Mild steel, Galvanized steel, Aluminum, Copper, Plastic, Wood, or anything that has similar or lower hardness as these materials. Drilling at low speed (300RPM recommended) with cooling oil will help the step bits last longer. Always wear proper Personal Protection Equipments during the use, including eye glasses, gloves and etc.
