Description: The False Personifer Angelfish is an endemic species from Eastern Australia. This fish is elegant, sporting a black body, gray face, and yellow freckles. A white and yellow band frames the face behind the head, and they have a vibrant yellow caudal fin. They can be challenging to keep due to feeding and susceptibility to parasitic infections. Use of a UV sterilizer and protein skimmer is strongly advised. Larger aquariums with ample rockwork are always best to house this angel. This fish will appreciate a balanced diet including both algae-based and meaty foods. Feeding vitamin C daily with pellet food will help prevent parasitic infections. Do not mix this fish with conspecifics.
