Claudia (Paperback)

<p>Two fictional cities in the Americas are the background for an intense and difficult relationship between Claudia Alicante and Dionisio Diosdado. The story not only tell us how these two characters met (probably around the age of 30) and how they relationship evolves, but also explains in detail their different, and sometimes, troublesome past. The story is full with magical and supernatural elements. The main one is the constant interaction between Dionisio and The Death, which pursues and interacts with him since the moment he was born. Dreams are important elements of the story as well, revealing important aspects of the characters by letting the reader dive into their subconscious. Buffaloes and snow appear to have mystical elements. At the end, the story tells a simple tale of love, obsession, suffering and death. But also, the story wants to tell the reader that despite the obvious and mundane, there are hidden elements that enrich, for better or for worse, the lives of Claudia and Dionisio.</p>
