On the palate, it delivers medium-to-full body with flavors of blackcurrant, dark cocoa, and a hint of mocha, supported by velvety tannins and a well-balanced acidity that carries the wine to a smooth, satisfying finish. Aged in a combination of new and second-use French-American oak, it pairs beautifully with herb-marinated lamb, roasted duck, or earthy mushroom dishes.
