An acidic nose of lime and grapefruit contrasts a rich body with sweet undertones of honey. The finish is short and crisp, with a final burst of lemon and honeysuckle rounding out a truly satisfying sipping experience. These Sauvignon Blanc grapes originate from the Bordeaux region of France, nestled between the right bank of the Garonne and the left bank of the Dordogne. The clay and gravel soils make prime real estate for Sauv grapes, encouraging roots to burrow deep into the soil and lending terrific drainage and a great personality to this white. While this 2020 Bordeaux Blanc certainly works well as a solo sipper, it also pairs beautifully with milky cheeses, shellfish, and asparagus risotto.
