This 2020 Palacio del Virrey Malbec brings an intense nose with rich aromas of black fruit, black currant, and fresh plum. The wine is smooth and silky on the palate with a strong backbone. Despite its powerful flavor profile, the aromas are balanced between natural sweetness and tart acidity. Hints of cream and violet round out a complex and layered sipping experience.
This intense Iberian Malbec originates from La Mancha, Spain. This central plateau or Meseta Central is responsible for nearly half of all wine production in Spain.
